Error Code List of Kenwood AC in 2024 - E4 | E5

If your air conditioner shows an error code, it means there's a problem. These codes help find issues like a faulty fan, sensors, or low refrigerant. Look in your AC's manual for what the code means, and if you're ensure, call a professional to fix it.

E series error code list

Error Meaning
E0  Indoor unit EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) error.
E1  The indoor and outdoor parts of your AC system are not able to communicate with each other properly.
E3  There is a problem with the fan speed of the indoor unit of your AC.
E4  There is a problem with the sensor that measures the temperature of the air returning to the indoor unit of your AC system.
E5  There is a malfunction with the sensor responsible for monitoring the temperature of the indoor coil in your air conditioning system.
EC  The amount of refrigerant gas in your air conditioning system is below the recommended level.
EE  A high water level alarm is a device that warns you when the water in a tank, reservoir, or other area gets too high.

F series error code list

Error  Meaning
F0 Outdoor unit has detected too much electrical current.
F1  The outdoor ambient temperature sensor is not working correctly.
F2  The sensor that measures the temperature of the outdoor coil is not working correctly.
F3  The sensor that measures the temperature of the air coming out of the compressor is not working correctly.
F4  The memory chip in the outdoor unit is not working correctly.
F5  The fan in the outdoor unit is not running at the right speed.
F6  The sensor that measures the temperature of the air leaving the indoor coil is not working correctly.

P series error code list

Error  Meaning
P0  There's an error with the inverter module's Intelligent Power Module (IPM).
P1  Voltage is either too high or too low.
P3  The outdoor unit is locked out due to low temperatures.
P4  There's an error with the compressor drive.
P6 The high-pressure or low-pressure switch is open.
P7  There's an error with the outdoor IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) temperature sensor.

Kenwood AC Remote setting

Setting your kenwood ac remote to cool is essential for keeping your indoor space comfortable in hot weather. I'll help you through it step by step:
Power On: To start, make sure your AC unit is turned on. Press the power button on your AC remote, typically symbolised by a power switch icon.

Choose Mode: Kenwood ac remotes usually offer modes like cooling, heating, dehumidification, and fan-only. Locate the 'Mode' button on your remote and press it until you select cooling mode, often shown by a snowflake symbol or the word 'Cool'.

Temperature Setting: After you've chosen cooling mode, use the arrow buttons on your remote to set the temperature. Lower settings will make the air cooler, while higher settings will make it less cool. Aim for a comfortable temperature, typically between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius.

Fan Speed: You can adjust the airflow by using the fan speed button on your AC remote. Choose from options like low, medium, high, or auto to find the airflow and noise level that suit you best.

Swing Function (Optional): Some AC remotes can move the airflow horizontally to distribute cool air evenly in the room. Use the 'Swing' or 'Airflow Direction' button on your remote to activate this feature if desired.

Double check: You can verify on the remote's screen or LED indicators that the mode, temperature, fan speed, and swing function are correct.
