Serious Concern: Misrepresentation of Product – Replacement Needed

I am extremely disappointed with how Japan Electronics has handled my complaint. Despite submitting the full purchase receipt and clearly explaining how the Orient Ultron AC was misrepresented and unsuitable for my location, the company has taken no meaningful action.

Your salesperson misled me into purchasing this model — not based on my specific needs, but seemingly to earn extra commission. This is unethical and unacceptable, especially when the health of my elderly parents is directly affected by this decision.

I strongly request an immediate replacement of the Orient unit with a more suitable Gree or Midea AC, which I originally intended to buy. This request is not just about comfort, but about trust, health, and fairness.

I also urge Japan Electronics management to take strict disciplinary action against such deceptive practices and work to rebuild customer trust.

Lastly, I caution other customers: don’t blindly trust the salesperson’s recommendation. Ask questions, do your research, and verify every claim — because misleading sales tactics for personal gain should never be tolerated.

Very bad Experience Request for AC Replacement

Dear Japan Electronics Management,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and request your urgent help regarding my recent purchase of an Orient Ultron air conditioner from your store.

This is the first time in my life, at the age of 25, that I have bought an AC. Until now, my family has never had an air conditioner in our home. My father, who is 68 years old, works night shifts as a security guard. My mother is 58 and a hepatitis C patient. During extreme heat, her health condition becomes very serious. That is why I have been saving money for over a year to buy an AC — mainly for her comfort and health.

Before visiting your store, I was advised by someone to consider **Midea** or **Gree** ACs because I live at the back of **Nallah Lai**, where there is constant exposure to wastewater, humidity, and pollution. I was told these brands are more durable and suitable for such environments.

However, when I visited *Japan Electronics*, I explained my situation in detail to your salesperson. Despite this, I was strongly convinced by your sales team to purchase the *Orient Ultron AC*, which they claimed was the best option and economical.

Now that it is installed, I am extremely disappointed. The cooling is not satisfactory, and it does not seem economical either. It has only been 3 days since installation, and I already regret this decision.

I respectfully request that you please consider replacing this unit with either a *Midea* or *Gree* model, which are better suited to my environment and needs. Your team has told me that replacement is not possible, but I am requesting upper management to kindly consider my situation as a *special case*.

This AC was bought with great effort and care. If you can help me in any way, I will be very grateful.
